Pour the oil into a pan over medium heat.
After heating the oil, add the ginger and onion.
Mix for about 5 minutes until the onion is browned, stirring frequently.
Reduce medium-low heat. Mix in the tomato and cover the casserole.
Cook until the tomato becomes completely soft and mashed and blends with the onion to form a crude paste,
stirring about 5 minutes each minute or so and mashing the tomato lightly.
Add turmeric, red pepper, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Stir to combine.
Bake for 6 minutes discovered, stirring continuously.
Add the peas, paneer cubes, and water. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
Reducing to low heat. Simmer gently for 5 minutes
