It is a traditional Indian dessert kheer cook by boiling milk, sugar, and nuts with rice. Does this sound familiar? It’s a dessert with huge variations around the world. For good reason, every culture has its own take on this classic: it’s delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 liter Milk
  • ½ cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 15-16 pieces chopped Almonds
  • 7-8 threads Saffron
  • ½ cup Makhana
  • 8-10 picecs Cashew
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • ½ cup Sugar ( as per taste )

Instructions
 

  • To make milk Kheer full of taste,
  • First, clean the rice and soak it in water for a few hours.

  • Put the milk in a pan and heat it over medium heat.
  • When the milk reaches its full bubble, add the soaked rice and thoroughly mix it with a ladle.

  • Cook the milk rice to cook for 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat to ensure that the rice is thorough.
  • After that, reduce the heat to low and add the cardamom powder and sugar.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes after adding raisins, cashews, almonds, and makhana.
  • Cover the pan and continue to cook the kheer on low heat for 5 minutes. Then, turn off the gas.
  • Your delectable Shahi Kheer is now ready to serve.
  • You can put it in the refrigerator to cool down if you wish. This improves the flavor of the kheer much more.

Notes

If you want to improve the flavor of the kheer much more freeze it in the refrigerator.
