Kheer Recipe Ingredients

  • 1-liter Milk
  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 15-16 chopped Almonds
  • 7-8 threads of saffron
  • 1/2 cup makhana
  • 8-10 cashew
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 
  • 1/2 cup sugar (as per taste)

Method Of kheer Making

  • To make milk Kheer full of taste,
  • First, clean the rice and soak it in water for a few hours.
  • Cut the almonds, cashew nuts, and makhana into small pieces.
  • Put the milk in a pan and heat it over medium heat.
  • When the milk reaches its full bubble, add the soaked rice and thoroughly mix it with a ladle.
  • Cook the milk rice to cook for 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat to ensure that the rice is thorough.
  • After that, reduce the heat to low and add the cardamom powder and sugar.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes after adding raisins, cashews, almonds, and makhana.
  • Cover the pan and continue to cook the kheer on low heat for 5 minutes. Then, turn off the gas.
  • Your delectable Shahi Kheer is now ready to serve.
  • You can put it in the refrigerator to cool down if you wish. This improves the flavor of the kheer much more.
