Matar Paneer ingredients

  1. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  2. 1½ teaspoons ginger paste
  3. ½ small chopped onion
  4. 1 tomato cut into 4 pieces
  5. ½ teaspoon turmeric
  6. ¼ teaspoon red pepper
  7. salt as per taste
  8. ½ teaspoon black pepper
  9. ½ cup green peas
  10. 250 gm paneer
  11. 1¼ cups (300 ml) water

Method

  1. Pour the oil into a pan over medium heat.
  2. After heating the oil, add the ginger, and onion.
  3. Stir frequently until the onion is browned for about 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce medium-low heat. Mix in the tomato and cover the casserole.
  5. Cook until the tomato becomes completely soft and mashed and blends with the onion to form a crude paste,
  6. stirring about 5 minutes each minute or so and mashing the tomato lightly.
  7. Add turmeric, red pepper, black pepper,  cumin powder, and coriander powder, and then add salt. Stir to combine.
  8. Bake for 6 minutes discovered, stirring continuously.
  9. Add the peas, paneer cubes, and water. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
  10. Reduce heat to low and Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  11. Your matar paneer is ready, Enjoy it with your family.
