No
, this recipe is not good for diabetics, heart, and weight loss. We all love Punjabi Samosa but sadly it has 3 killer issues in them. Plain flour, potatoes to make the samosa, and then the samosa is deep-fried. Any food that is deep-fried is not suitable for healthy living.03-Mar-2021

To Serve Samosa Chaat

Top with dollops of yogurt. Then roughly break 2 samosas and place them on top of yogurt. Top the samosa with more chole, cilantro chutney, sweet tamarind chutney. And finally garnish the Samosa Chaat with chopped onion, sev, cilantro, pomegranate arils (if using).

The original chaat is a mixture of potato pieces, crisp fried bread dahi vada or dahi Bhalla, gram or chickpeas and tangy-salty spices, with sour Indian chili and saunth (dried ginger and tamarind sauce), fresh green coriander leaves, and yogurt for garnish, but other popular variants included alu tikkis or samosa

Central Asian samsa was introduced to the Indian subcontinent in the 13th or 14th century by traders from Central Asia. Amir Khusro (1253–1325), a scholar and the royal poet of the Delhi Sultanate, wrote in around 1300 CE that the princes and nobles enjoyed the “samosa prepared from meat, ghee, onion, and so on”.
